About QRCam

QRCam is a browser QR scanner for camera and image scanning, with results you can copy and no account or app installation required.

Read QR codes in your browser

QRCam helps you read QR contents from a camera, screenshot, or local image. Open the webpage to begin without creating an account or installing a separate scanner app. Use a phone to scan a code in front of you or a computer to read a saved QR image.

Two ways to scan

Camera scanning requires a secure context such as HTTPS or localhost and your browser permission. Image scanning accepts static PNG, JPG, and WebP files up to 20MB each, useful for QR codes in a photo library or screenshot. Clear, complete codes with space around the edges are easier to read.

You choose how to use results

After scanning, view and copy the text contained in the QR code. HTTP or HTTPS addresses offer a manual open-link action, without automatic navigation. QRCam reads contents but does not judge whether a website or code is trustworthy. Check the address before opening it.

Process scan contents on your device

Camera frames and selected images are processed in the current browser without uploading them for recognition. Results remain in page memory, with no scan history. The website still loads pages, third-party resources, and analytics outside development environments, as described in the Privacy policy.
